Today I learned that if Amazon brings you someone else’s package to your door, and you realize this prior to opening, and leave it in place with a big note on it saying “wrong address”, it won’t matter when they bring the next package to your door- they won’t pick it up and take it where it needs to go. They’ll just ignore it.

It’s either up to you to be neighborly, and go correctly deliver it for Amazon for free, or just toss it I guess.

@MookyTroubadour Well, that's crappy but not surprising. If the address is in my town, I always take things to their rightful owner. One good thing about the usps is the will actually redeliver. Of course if it's a neighbor on my street, I do that.
