What ever were the odds that in 1966 Wilson Picket sang “Ride Sally Ride” (in Mustang Sally), and then twentyish years later a woman named Sally Ride would be the first US woman in space (and later understood to be the first LGBTQ astronaut)?

That still seems weird.
