@th3j35t3r I know that when my folks went through the 5-year citizenship process in 1953, they learned so much of civics and American history that they knew more of how the US worked than people born here.
You're not "out there" with the points you're making.
@MisterE @th3j35t3r Yes One of my students that graduated last year and his mother are studying and preparing so hard to become citizens. They are from El Salvador. I am privileged to help them study sometimes. I wish every student knew what these two are learning and cared so much.
