@Mikethewander1 I've had a slight course adjustment I used to say it should be legal to marry any other adult human at city hall. Then my gay friends convinced me that they felt awful they couldn't marry in their church, so naturally, being an empath, I sided with them on the issue.
However, I've decided that we really can't legislate religion except keep it out of government (or if it does something heinous like multi child wives or torturing animals etc.) One can leave a awful church-Do It!
