Is the Bible history?
The bible mentions some places and events that are indeed historical BUT does that make it a history book? NO!
My Dad is a Vietnam War Veteran and we KNOW Vietnam exists. He wrote and published a book with the backdrop of the Vietnam War- FOUR years ago. Other than that the book is pure fiction!

As a theologian* said in a doc I once saw, "it's a faith document, not a fact document."
*I believe it was a Catholic Cardinal who had a doctorate in theology
