I was a vegan for 2 years. I didn't lose any weight. Then my friend told me to eat a steak a day. I dropped weight fast. It's so weird how bodies work.

@Nerdsleaze protein rarely becomes fat perhaps because it's harder to digest. However, having said that lesser carbs, portion sizes an more activity are a good balance

@Mikethewander1 when I'm not eating fast food lol I eat a lot of fish, meat, eggs, and
veg. Not many carbs or fruit. My body is optimal that way

@Nerdsleaze Fish is an awesome source. Sadly the hubby is allergic so I must get that for breakfast or lunch usually. I try to stay away from breaded fried foods and use olive oil when I do fry at home. I do miss my pastas and my homemade Szechuan chicken fried rice.
