Today's #Republicans are proving themselves stupendously corrupt, willfully shedding any semblance of the "main street", working class ideals that have sustained their veil of good-faith, all-American wholesomeness for decades.

With every diabolical deconstruction of public institutions that has made this country a leader in this world, in this case public education, they are what they project to anyone and everyone who opposes them:

the "society elites".
