@TwitterExpat that's okay. it wasn't for them. they spent what? like an hour here & didn't really get to know how anything worked. no trolls. no bots. users from certain countries that are known for bot farms & pose security risks can't even sign up here. but no matter.

i would much rather peeps want to be here & understand the security & safety set up on than try to persuade peeps who have made up their minds w/o trying to learn anything anyway.

@singlemaltgirl totally agree. Guess I’m a little protective of our little corner of the WWW.

@TwitterExpat oh, me, too.

i'm really not interested in persuading peeps. you either give it a good college try or you're just here to complain.

every time peeps have shown up, i've seen jump over themselves to help, provide advice, answer questions, provide links. if you can't see it's better than other places, we're not going to cry if you choose to leave.

i prefer when peeps self select themselves on & off the platform. makes it easier for the rest of us, no?

@singlemaltgirl @TwitterExpat no big loss I guess he'll just go to Mastodon or was it because there is no way to monitze your following?

@MichaelTalon i suspect it was the latter. i expect there will be quite a few accts that market & promote & try to influence heavily that will find is not useful for that. @TwitterExpat
