Positive for the rona today. Precautions for 3 years, fully vaxxed, always masked. Full on hazmat at my house right now. Husband at high risk for complications. Grrrrrrr. But he's doing alright so far. Luck ran out, I suppose. Even working remotely didn't keep that bugger at bay. Gonna rest and isolate some more.
@LnzyHou I’m sorry. Speedy recovery to you. I hope the hubs stays well. I had significant exposure at work yesterday. So far, negative. Will test 2x/day for a few days so I don’t accidentally expose anyone. I still mask in public, too, but with just a few of us at the office, we stopped masking. Dumb idea.
@Mfieck How does one obtain Paxlovid?
@BlytheAwesome @LnzyHou
No sure, though I suspect it depends on severity and underlying health risks. Waiting for hubs video appt with his doctor. If it is recommended, I will follow up to this message.
I have asthma, senior and high risk. Worked wonders for me. After five days of RX tested negative in the 6th.
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.
@LnzyHou @BlytheAwesome
Is it IV or oral? Guess I could google....but I'll take your experience as credible.
@BlytheAwesome @LnzyHou
Recommend rest and fluids. No fever, little congestion, no cough, o2 at 98, so no paclovid or MAB or Hospital, hallelujah!!!
I'm going back to bed.
Thanks for the well wishes.
Get vaxxed, peeps...makes a huge difference!
@Mfieck feel better soon. And you’re doing the best you can to keep your spouse safe.
@badkoukla
He's doing well. Gonna keep it that way, whatever it takes. Thank you!
@Mfieck
Get Paxlovid right away. It works wonders but must be started early on.
