First impressions after the first few days on #CoSo
A bit overwhelming at first and still trying to find my footing around here.
The people are similar minded, helpful and friendly. 🖖
So far, no far right trolls to be seen, which is so much better for maintaining my calm.
Now let's see if I can find more twitter refugees I know over here.
@McWabbit so far it just seems so…calm. Less posturing. Lots of pet/food/nature/music content. Peaceful!
@McWabbit Reading the #userguide will help a lot. When I 1st emigrated to #CoSo, I stuck it into my profile and it's stayed there as a handy reference. You can search #cosotips for help too.
The experience of CoSo varies slightly whether you're using the app on your phone, or the desktop version (the latter is easier to navigate). Regardless of version, the *people* here are good folk. Welcome!
@HyL That is a good tip! Going to add that link to my profile too. I like it that it is a searchable pdf. Makes it so much easier to find help via key words.
@McWabbit Indeed. I love keyword searches. I wish the User Guide provided more help for the Pro [paid] spaces in CoSo, but I don't see a lot of activity in those chat rooms nywy.
