Feeling discouraged 😧 I've been on for 9 months with minimal changes. The last 3 has shown no change even with an increase in estrogen. I'm currently taking 6mg of estrogen in pill form & 200 mg of spiro. I know it takes time but really wish something more would happen 😟

@MarvelousMadi13 are you getting blood work to find your hormone levels? it does take time to do the magic but that should let you know if the medication has any affect... one thing i've read is that spiro doesn't always have the same effect for everyone, i got my doctor to switch me off that... but really that first year does seem like it can be somewhat slow :(

@HopeNotWorry I am getting bloodwork done....next week is when I take my next ones. My doctor seems very pro spiro and very against progesterone, though I may try and push her to change it. Is what you switched to and did it help?

@MarvelousMadi13 i switched the spiro for lupron injections really fast, like after a month or so, and added progesterone at about the 9 month mark (although i've read thats best to start about a year into it)

i think it helped, the progesterone also helps me sleep so that's a huge plus...

i'm about 17 months into it now, i'm absolutely seeing effects i like with that combination :)
