Looking forward to 2023 as at some point early in the year I will start presenting fem 100% of the time π
The one downside is having to buy a whole new wardrobe of clothes that aren't that cheap with the zero money I have π
@lenaoflune makes me wish I had started buying more work casual type things instead of cute summer dresses all this time π€£ At this point i need a whole new wardrobe for work!
@MarvelousMadi13 Oh, I know that feeling. Now that it's cold, I'm figuring out ways to work sundresses and miniskirts with leggings and shawls.
The ability to assemble different pieces into different outfits is so much fun, though! :)
@lenaoflune I have so many summer clothes, but none suitable for work lol
@MarvelousMadi13 Ah, my work, being in tech, might be a lot more casual in general :)
@lenaoflune I'm in HR so I am constantly doing interviews, so sadly it's business casual here lol
@MarvelousMadi13 Not quite the same, but I lost 50 lbs at one point and I honestly didn't even think of the cost of replacing clothing. It's crazy expensive to replace a wardrobe.
I recommend getting a few pieces that you can easily mix and match at the beginning.
@lisamflower thanks for the tip...trying to find some basic some on Amazon that I could do some mixing and matching with.
@MarvelousMadi13
Have some post-Christmas fun in charity shops?
Cute shoes might be tricky but other than that I bet you could find an awesome wardrobe.
@stueytheround I actually have a few consignment stores around that I may check out. I've had luck there before.
@MarvelousMadi13 Yes! Living your authentic self all the time is such a powerful experience :)
I too love clothes shopping, but oh, the cost...
