This is a perennial favorite of Texans who don’t understand the Constitution — there is no process for secession. None. Nada.
“The legality of seceding is problematic,” Eric McDaniel, associate professor of government at the University of Texas at Austin, told The Texas Tribune in 2016. “The Civil War played a very big role in establishing the power of the federal government and cementing that the federal government has the final say in these issues.”
Nor as an America would I want Texas to secede. It currently is run by Republicans that barely understand the law, much less are willing to follow it.
Our legislature makes DC look like brainiacs. Our governor is an idiot who doesn’t understand science much less is willing to abide by it. After Texans died in snowpacalypse, they passed a VOLUNTARY upgrade to our grid while wanting to increase gas electric generators — the very source of our grid problems!

Yeah, I believe CA has the worlds 3rd largest economy.
I have read that about states not being able to secede. But something has to give somewhere.
Our government spends all its time fighting amoung each othere. Worse yet, a POS like trump can run for president again and be elected again. So what do we do? Vote does not make a difference. Thiere is constant bickering between Dems and Repubs. Who loses? The American people. The entire government is FUBAR🤷♀️
