This Ukraine vs Russian war is going to last awhile. Russia's government will keep feeding soldiers to the meat grinder as they did in WWII when over 8,000,000 Russian soldiers were killed in battle. Yeah, could be a really long war or until Ukraine runs out of soldiers.

Those were USSR's combined losses, not just Russia's. Total military deaths amounted to over 11 million.
The Russians were defending against an invasion, having nowhere else to go. This time they can just pull back and the war will end. Every Russian understands that they can simply go back home. The stakes aren't nearly comparable for them this time around. Fear of #Putin is their only motivator. It cannot last very much longer.

Very true. Putin does not want to appear weak or lose face. He keeps threatening nukes. Is he crazy enough to use nukes? Probably if it looks like Russia is going to lose this war he started. And that is the scary part.

I'm counting on someone showing him the way through a window frame before he could do that.
Many top officials from #Russia have families living in countries that #Putin is threatening with nukes.
