Watching Daves World of Fun Stuff I set up my Jazz Bass. Fender says 6/64 for string height. Following what I saw, I got my strings down to 5/64 of an inch. No fret buzz or fretting out🤗 Now, low and fast Peachy, fingers do not work as hard.
I tune 1/2 step down.
@MallyDaKatt It's cool you're not getting any fret buzz with the strings that low, especially tuned down. You did a perfect set up job! What gauge strings are on it?
