When it comes to Steven Seagal, less is more. In the movie, "Executive Decision," his character gets killed off within the 1st 20 minutes. That's what makes this his best movie. Here's what Roger Ebert had to say about this movie: "Any movie prepared to kill off Steven Seagal in the first 20 minutes is prepared for anything, and so I perked right up." Ebert actually gave this movie 3 stars out of 4. I'd like to think that Seagal's early demise played a factor in that rating.
does that mean much less is mo' bettah? the less Seagal, the better, right?
@northernbassist Yes, that is indeed correct.
Here's an interesting fact: Donald Trump's ex-wife Marla Maples is in this movie. She's actually credited as Marla Maples Trump. Also Andreas Katsulas, who played the one-armed bad guy in "The Fugitive" is in this movie. Mr. Snake Plissken himself, Kurt Russell and future Bond girl Halle Berry are in this as well. Oh, and the guy who played Luigi one time (John Leguizamo) is in it.
Overall, it's a worth a look. That is if you're willing to endure Seagal's awful early screen presence.
