Also the noise of the crowd is a lot louder on the stage than what you hear on tv/streaming, and sometimes the speaker has to get louder to hear themselves. Remember Hillary's speech in 2016? She sounded like a cat trapped in a rocking chair factory but she probably could barely hear herself on the stage. It's the nature of the beast.
