🎧 Sleater-Kinney, “Little Rope”. Veteran bands make their best “latter day” music when they have something to prove or they are processing grief. SK is doing both. SK already had the songs ready to go to prove “Path of Wellness” wasn't a fluke. Then, Carrie Brownsteins parents died and the recording sessions got intense. SK albums are always rife with “moments” but this one is one long 36 minute moment. They should name a fine wine after this band.
