🎧 Bodega, "Broken Equipment". Discovered this band yesterday. If I had to pick a "New York-iest" band it would be Bodega. This album is actually a little bit of a commentary on NYC, made bitter by the T***p years and Covid, and reflecting on its history and impact on its denizens ("Doers" could be the Gen Z "New York New York"). It's a great modern art punk/new wave album. Looking forward to the new album in April.
