🎧 The Kinks, "Kink Kronikles". I wore this thing out when I had it on vinyl, it was my window into the world of the early Kinks. An amazing collection of non-album singles and deeper tracks from the Reprise Records era, compiled and annotated by rock critic John Mendelsohn, who put as much love into the liner notes as he did the track selection. Although it was just a way to make $ from the catalog, it remains one of my favorite Kinks albums.
