Conked out after I got home last night and struggled to rise today.
Which is odd, because I'm not actually *doing* much, except a lot of thinking-intensive and people-managing work.
But stress is living in my body, clearly, so I need to solve it.
Fair warning to you fine folks:
Watch for how stress lives in you these next few days.
Our species wasn't made for this. We're supposed to be defending from material threats, not abstract political nightmares and the harm they seed in other brains.
Oh! This is a great idea!
But can we get someone to come down for a bit from the abstract realm, and explain how it works for us? We don't need him for long - three decades or so should do! And then we'll get a dozen or so *other* people to try to record what he said, so we don't lose track of how it's all supposed to fit together.
Gosh, can you imagine how tough this whole "abstract comfort" business would be if we humans were the sort to over-complicate everything?
Oh! You know what's better than one franchise? A whole marketplace's worth!
We'll capture more market share if we can get them to gamify their own anxieties and pit them against each other. It's all the same abstraction at the end, but if we get folks worried about having the *right* branding for their abstract comfort, we can leverage their fear of the other for even greater profit and political influence.
I mean, all for the betterment of our species in the end, I'm sure...
@MLClark what could possibly go wrong? 🤷
It's a dangerous thing!
Especially when they don't come with their own crash helmets. :/
@MLClark I have to read faster - I almost finished your post before you deleted it. 😁
@MLClark great adds! Now, and I’m just spitballing here, but we could make money with this and maybe even impose our beliefs onto others when we use some of that money to influence politics. I don’t want to put the cult before the horse, but there’s something here. 🤑💰💵💸💲
