I think most places have their characters, but not everyone gets the same *collisions* between worlds where they live - and that can make all the difference!
@MLClark Such a wonderful article, especially the section about your encounters with street people. I'm all for character studies, ones that can be an inspirtation for fictional characters. Medellin has them in abundance.
