I get a lot of guff from people upset that I don't dehumanize folks whose life experiences have given them to believe that military action is the primary path to peace.

You've seen things they've never had to. Done things, they (and I) have never had to. *Lived with* actions done, in ways they never will.

I don't agree with all the government policies that send your brothers & sisters into harm's way.

But I don't ever doubt that you've given your all to help us see a better day.
