I miss late-night frozen stoner snacks that you just nuke, fry, or heat in the oven.
So I've been trying to brainstorm things that I could wrap in light pastry, egg roll wrappers, spring roll wrappers, etc., and deep-fry.
Ideally would combine a vegetable and a protein that's not beans or peas.
I could probably do some simple ones, like ham, cheese, and broccoli, but could do fancier.
Spring rolls with protein, carrots, cabbage, etc. are a no-brainer.
Ideas?
Frozen egg scrambles and banana nut muffins? Both are easy to prep in muffin tins and pop into freezer bags, to pull out and reheat as needed.
@MLClark I'm thinking of adapting my banana bread recipe a bit, to make some fruit and nut muffins or logs or something.
