I just realized that a couple of people I was friends with on TikTok blocked me... people are so fake. I realized that they associate with 
supporters although their façade was "we're apolitical, all politicians are the same, both sides are bad, we have to create another "system", Kamala is not black and she hid Biden had severe mental decline, elderly abuse blah blah". I pretended to not care about their friends but I am upfront leftist, atheist and a secular humanist 🤷🏼♀️.
Such a weird political climate... find it scary to be honest, I don't make political content, except for saying what I stand for. #Politics
I think it comes down to people feeling like they have little agency beyond the social media sphere - so sabre-rattling & rage-posting, as we've seen on CoSo as well as on other forums, becomes the main outlet of political participation.
But when you get back here, you'll be reminded in an instant that there's so much we can do in our barrios instead.
It'll feel like whiplash, coming online and seeing the grandstanding!
But oh, you'll feel saner again. I promise. Soon! 🙂
