One of the "before" shots. I'm going to watch the first half on the other side of the mall, though. More table space to multitask. #Colombia #Sportsball #Copa
I am having ONE. This beer is pretty generic, but it's considered pretty patriotic because it has all the right colours. #AyOmbe! #HágalePues! #Colombia #Copa
@MLClark Yep, it does have the appearance of a typical 'industrial' lager.
It's a water substitute. There isn't much of a craft beer scene here (noooowhere near what Canada has), and one of the best local options went out of business in the pandemic. But Colombia has an abundance of fresh cheap delicious fruits, so it balances out!
@MLClark Having a source for beer I like is one of the reasons I learned how to homebrew about 15 years ago. I live in Austin and there's no shortage of local craft options, but we have lost a number of breweries in the last few years to insane rent and property tax increases.
Nice! What do you lean toward, in your brews?
Oh, nice spread! Saisons, porters, and Russian stouts were my jam in Canada. Haven't had one in six years. Thanks for the vicarious pleasure of hearing about the range of your homebrew treats!
@MLClark My favorite porter recipe actually came from the Obama administration! It was the White House Honey Porter.
