@MLClark This is probably the best place, but I've just been kind quiet online lately. Not really sure how those other sites work to be honest. Would love to seek out some of our bird site author buddies at some point though!
I'm @mlclark.bsky.social there, if you ever join up! It recently gained a one-on-one chat option, so it's been quietly growing, and for the most part the SFF crew there behaves itself instead of spiralling into silly tempests in teapots. 🙃
But I understand the inclination to just go quiet for a while. If you'd ever like to chat, let me know! The front end of this month is a touch packed, but the back half should be easier.
