My actual first name was so often used by famous writers that I assumed the field was fully saturated with respect to "Margaret"s. Nonetheless, it was a lot of peer pressure in university that shifted me from Margaret to Maggie to appease fellows in my life. "ML" was something I had to fight for in my writing career.
A rose by any other name, etc. - but thank you for affirming that my own is just enough.
