It is very frustrating being just sentient enough to process the existence of so much trauma the world over, and not anywhere near powerful enough to do a thing about it.
Let's just say that I have notes about our species' schematics, for anyone thinking about how to design a better Homo sapiens sapiens 2.0.
Empathy and a few critical joint, teeth, and organ modifications would pretty much cover the whole list for upgrades, eh?

start with everyone having enough Empathy that no other human can be considered less human for any reason. including (but not specifically) their Religion, Ethnicity, origins, appearance, or sexual orientation
so much evil in this world is done because someone in power thinks they are more human than someone else
