@MLClark There's some out there that are very much opposed to the world we could have.I've been witness to all kinds of atrocities through my 40 years in uniform, I don't expect to see an end to them anytime soon.
It is all the more remarkable that any light gets in, when we know just how much depravity exists as well. Thank you for being part of that good spark.
That's a beautiful reframe for a key part of what affected me today.
I've seen plenty of atrocity, and most does not phase me anymore (for better and for worse), but sometimes it's the confidence with which it's shared that just hits on a whole other level.
You're right, though: it's documented. It's out there. That's a strength as much as it is a mark of the depths to which we sink.
