@MLClark Good morning bright shining soul! It's a joy to see you!
π€ And a joy to see you!
I didn't get to bed until midnight so I'm going easy on the workout now. I'm starting the next part of a tough regimen for the month, but it's going to be a huge mental game for today and tomorrow, to get over the initial hump.
How about you? Phone calls blocked? Running awaits? Or is your body giving out other signals today? π
I've been trying to start this regimen in full for weeks myself, while trying to dodge social events that won't make it easy to stick to my goal, &... being up 'til midnight won't help with today's millionth attempt to make it stick. π But! Fingers crossed.
Our silly bodies present such challenges in some seasons, eh? Being a compassionate scientist and studying the data they give off is sometimes all we can do.
π€ Rest up, Becca. Hope your body feels like breathing easier soon.
@MLClark This body is a cantankerous and grumbly machine that can be almost as stubborn as I am.
It can be vexing.
It's like hiking on scrabble. You're going to slip and progress is going to be slow, but the only way to get across it is to keep going until you can get enough traction to get across.
Sometimes all one can do is out endure the setbacks.
