Okay, all set up for a day of working at the mall. 🤞🏻 Fingers crossed that *some* of the people in the cowork space remember their headphones, don't share their porn viewing with the rest of us, and don't host whole-ass arguments with their girlfriends or parents on their phones right next to me today.
That's one very humbling part of life here: libraries are few and far between (though there's a nice one in the centre of the city). There are children's book reading nooks in some of the metro stations, but my neighbourhood doesn't have any kind of library. Every major mall has coworking spaces, though - & we have lots of nature-driven "third spaces".
We sometimes forget how fortunate we are in the West! Breaks my heart to see politicians try to gut the gift of such social services.
