Starting a multiweek health reset tonight, from now 'til birthday o'clock.
Lots to finish by year's end, but this season is always rough for me. Just tons of bad memories that like to say howdy.
Locals always ask about family, too, because their Navidads are joyous times, and that often involves hashing out how estranged my kin are. So--hunkering down, finishing the novel, and resetting mentally and physically is best.
And Die Hard on Dec 25, of course. π
Sheesh, I'm not an *utter* Grinch. π
π€ I'm so glad you're taking good care of your health and well-being - and Ursula, of course!
This has been such a weird year for the world. I feel like the best we can do is keep ourselves kind and alive, and in good form to go forward and see what we might do better in the next.
However the rest of the writing is going in your household, I hope YOU keep doing well. Any rest in store for the coming weeks?
@MLClark Oh yeah, holiday rest time is coming up. Looking forward to a bit of a mental reset. π€
@MLClark Ah, the puns! Me and Ursula have found a routine in playing fetch after work. I think much of it is performance art on her part. She attacks invisible things. I'm still trying to interpret the story, but it seems like a tale (tail?) of a triumphant huntress! I think Ursula's writing is going better than mine π.
But I make allowances for myself after some medical appointments I'd put off for years. Counting my "adulting" victories.
And trying to emerge from my seclusion a bit here π
