Also: I cannot fully describe the rest and joy I feel when I run into trans folk in my building. Most paisas are *very* much live & let live - which doesn't mean that trans folk don't endure prejudice & abuse, but does mean that I'm not living in an everyday culture of politically amplified anti-trans rhetoric like... ah... some batshit states of hate I could name. 🙃 My home always feels so much safer after I've had a nice chat with some of many my beautiful neighbours across the rainbow. ❤️💜

@MLClark Fellow came into my store today wearing a Trans Rights Are Human Rights tshirt. I was so busy just processing all the business that I didn't get to acknowledge him for wearing that tshirt, but I wanted to. Maybe next time I see him I'll get the chance. Such a fucking day. All chaos. No chance for humanity. One of my coworker melted down at the end of the day and i barely had the chance to even acknowledge him

@GlennS

Those days are the roughest.

Everything poured into being present, the body pushed to a limit that just leaves you feeling emptied and burned out even after accomplishing so much.

Glenn.

Thank you for being present for so many and so much today.

It was enough.

You are, too. 🫂

So rest up tonight, eh? You more than earned it.
