Joyce, have you ever felt this unsettled by the culture before? Does this feel like a whole other level of dangerous nonsense, or another exhaustingly familiar wave of something you've always had to hope voters would resist?

I really didn't want to go through a rerun of the '80s.

There have been others like RFK Jr in their eras. William Jennings Bryan is the first one who comes to mind.
