Today's absurd performances of power by the rich and well-platformed would almost be laughable, if they didn't also reflect such a serious crisis of cultural authority.

@MLClark We always have the opportunity to be the caveat to the era we are in.
During the enlightenment era, when slavery and racial division was accepted and common, there were those that emphatically rejected that cultural milieu and advocated and fought for change.
We cannot control the time we were born to, but we can control who we are in the face of it.
