Yes! I don't ever want to trigger others' eating disorders, but it can be a fine line while talking about a healthful role for fasting in one's life.
I love and cherish and am grateful for my food. I'm surrounded by people on the streets here who are actively starving, too - so it is a *privilege* to choose to fast, knowing there will be a meal at the end.
Cheers, Ceorl! Hope you're eating well, too.
What an absolute joy fresh bread is!
& I definitely need to learn how to make sauerkraut because it doesn't exist here.
I won't be fasting again for a while (not healthy to do many fasts in close succession) but I'm looking forward to my reclaimed palate for fresh foods leading to some wonderful, simple, nourishing recipes for the next while.
I *do* apologize for causing any concern. Thank you for your care.
Just cooking up tomorrow's mushroom & celery soup now. Joy is on the menu.
@MLClark
I noticed how careful you were about cw-ing you eating posts. That was awesome. I do know that fasting is good periodically, but I guess I just got some kind of "Dad feels" about you missing a meal.
I am eating better than ever in my life now, almost all fresh and unprocessed, baking bread every other day, and just started a small batch of sauerkraut for a pro-biotic boost :)
