I'm at a restless, pacing hour in my day's writing & editing, and the latest mountain fire isn't helping. Might go for a wee walk before the next stint. (Class cancelled at 5:30, so more writing time for me!)
@stephen_a_allen It was indeed! Also, I was so excited to see word of the ghazal collection you've been reading. Do you have a favourite in the book? I think your thoughts about the challenge of writing a ghazal are spot-on, too. David E and I are currently doing some ekphrastic poetry exchanges, like old times. I hope your own forays into draftwork are serving you wonderfully.
@MLClark Well, I haven't finished the book yet, so I can't claim a favorite, although I came to the book through "Tonight," which is wonderful and which I'll link to in a moment. I also keep thinking of writing ekphrarstic poems, but I haven't been really inspired by any artwork lately (although I find this month's Rattle ekphrastic challenge image intriguing). Anyways, "Tonight":

@MLClark I've been restless today, too, and it's been interfering with my reading. A walk sounds like a good idea.
