Morning CoSo!
Just a simple news brief today for #OnlySky, of different partnered use cases of GPT-4. The aim is to highlight that this technology *is* a tool, and needs to be treated centrally as such as its reach expands. Are there still challenges ahead? Definitely.
But I've got a longer feature in the works, to wrestle with how we seek out what is "true" in the secular world - so I'll do a deeper dive into the challenges of ML (the OTHER ML π ) at that juncture.

@BosmangBeratna Very kind of you, Bosmang. Helps to be surrounded by others just as itchy to build and do better. π
Thanks for that overview of some current use cases.
Most of the coverage of AI I have seen is either in-the-weeds technical or click-bait scare stories.
I hope more will start to look at our Alfred that way too, as a useful tool rather than a joke machine or punching bag.
I look forward eagerly to when you dive deeper!
@ceorl Oh, good to hear - that's what I was aiming for (something less overwhelming, more accessible). Thanks for reading!
On-point rather than accessible. I'm never going to code my own AI, and I don't fear technology.
Use cases and user requirements are arguably the most challenging and nuanced parts of any system design.
@MLClark How do we seek out what's true in an AI world? Where are the 3 laws of Robotics for AI? π
@Anton I'll give a wee hint - I'm a huge fan of returning to history to reflect on crises of the moment. We don't always have to reinvent the wheel. π
@MLClark your newsletters have been a boon, my friend πΎ
