Monday's podcast recording for Beyond Atheism had to be postponed until tonight, but what a joy of a chat was had. Lots of fun. And yet, I still felt like *such* an imposter by the end, especially when the hosts told me they wanted to keep asking me questions for hours and remarked on my range, while I was busy cataloguing everything I'd missed. 😅 Well! At least I'm not at high risk of Dunning-Kruger, right?
(Unless overconfidence in not being at high risk is itself Dunning-Kruger in action? 😳)
@Minholkin Thanks, Minholkin! They interview different people every podcast, so I think this is one-and-done, but still an important development.
This is the second time I've done an interview around global humanism - and I also gave a speech to Virginia Tech's interfaith group in 2020, & another to ethnology researchers in 2021. I *do* think I need to lean into more opportunities like this - as an author, too - but I've never been comfortable with pedestals. (I like collaborative spaces more!)
@MLClark
I appreciate that sentiment—conversations are so exciting and energizing in a way speeches lack
But you have so much to offer and invite important thinking—so the more ways folks can hear and learn from you, the better 🙏
