@MHS_Jenkins I agree. The suit should be tossed for lack of merit or standing. Catfishing is a common thing on the Internet. Is he gonna sue everyone who does that? He'd be in court forever. If he believes he's been hoodwinked into sending money, he can try figuring out where the fraudster is based and try to file criminal charges; however, the law in many jurisdictions may not be up to the task of prosecuting internet fraud.
