@thedisasterautist When I was in college in the late 90s, I'd have said that NPR's bias was only evident in the stories it chose to pursue, not how it covered them. Now? They're part of the division/discontent/disinformation machine. We're going to have to find alternatives, yet again.
@MHS_Jenkins: ...though not anywhere near as badly as that day. Other times, guests and sometimes hosts were outright making things up on-air, demonstrable untruths, and questioning or pushback was not received well.
I hate it. I used to depend on NPR, up until the late '90s and early '00s. Heck, even the Beeb has been wobbly on bias. It bodes not well.

@MHS_Jenkins: Alas, they've been on really, really unsteady ground with me for over a decade, since Rehm duked it out with both her liberal and conservative panel on-air one day because the conservative wasn't lying or obfuscating and the liberal was coming to his defense and verifying that particular things the guy was saying were 100% true. Rehm wasn't having any of it, and it was embarrassing AF. Several of their hosts, some though are now former-hosts, over the years have done that,...
