@M00dyBlue It's not all that far from Briones. Everything is pretty desiccated from drought - can't wait for new growth, hoping for more rain this week.
Central Valley is really only good for driving from the coast range to the Sierras! Recently passed through Fresno to a hot spring at the dirt road end of Rt 168.
@maybeimaleo yes, I'm from Martinez originally. Came here last year unfortunately. Miss my beautiful hills and hiking Briones and carquinez strait. Sunol is beautiful, been there many times. Now I'm in yuckville. Ugh.
@maybeimaleo I'm near south Stockton. It's just flat here. I can see My. Diablo to the west waaaay in the distance but that's about it. Just roads, industrial buildings, and homes in every direction. Not a single pretty thing any where 😏
@M00dyBlue Well, I try to post some pics after each outing, and sometimes random photos from my archives. Usually scenery or points of interest - I don't do selfies! Watch this space.

@M00dyBlue I don't know where yuckville is. (Yuck yuck.) Are you in the middle? Can you see hills east or west? It helps to be able to see a horizon.
