As former professional declutterer, do not handle items over and over. Only once then act:
Sell, gift, donate, keep or trash.
Save only treasures. Treasures do not belong in molding boxes or bins.
Buy only items which you can visualize where they will live. Storage is finite.
Once a year project. Pick a month. Autumn is great 🍁
