I'm so confused and disoriented.

Social media has broken America.

The enlightened gate keeper model generally works pretty good, like here on CoSo and Wikipedia. I remember the good internet, then one day everyone got access and it's been downhill ever since.

Modestly moderated social media platforms like this one are the way forward, I've known this for a long time. Moderation at scale (billions of accounts) doesn't work, if profit is your goal.

We have work to do. Integrity matters.
