The US is providing JSOWs to Ukraine.
It is unclear which variant(s) of the AGM-154 are being sent to Ukraine, though I expect the AGM-154A will be likely since it is the lowest cost, and the strategy is to provide a stand-off missile for the F-16s that can take out Russian surface-to-air missile defenses from up to 12 miles away. This would make the most sense since we are scaling up the number of F-16s and trained pilots and budgets are constrained at this time.
What Ukraine could do with F-16s and AGM-154As is send one or several of their low cost drones to attack targets, and if the Russian SAMs light up their radar, the JSOW AGM-154As could target their SAM batteries.
