I hate to say this, and I don't mean any disrespect for those who made the ultimate sacrifice and their families..., but...

The media, especially right-wing media, has over-hyped the deaths of the soldiers killed by ISIS in Afghanistan.

For comparisons, every year except 2020 when 11 soldiers were KIA in Afghanistan, more soldiers were KIA in Afghanistan under every other year of the Trump Administration, and nobody is making a big deal about those soldiers.

Not one election since at least Clinton has the GOP not paraded the deaths of soldiers as a reason not to like Democrats despite more soldiers dying on their watch.
