Cosctco has Christmas merchandise.
You used to see that on Black Friday after Thanksgiving, but Christmas has started earlier than Thanksgiving for a while.
I often joked, "Soon Christmas will eat Halloween". Well it happened, and then it went on to eat Labor Day too.
@Lulz4l1f3 We live in a consumer/debt society. The earlier you shop, the more money you spend, the more in debt you'll be, the more companies will make big bucks off your credit card interest.
I can hardly wait until we see those Christmas fireworks on July 4.
@Lulz4l1f3 Wait! Isn't there a 'thing' called 'Christmas in July'????😱
Yes and one of our local department stores hosted one. I'm not sure it did well though! 🎄
@KazzyH @Lulz4l1f3 Christmas in July is like buying a winter coat in July. I don't think you're getting any bargains.
@Lulz4l1f3 Trump: If Kamala Harris wins, say bye bye to Christmas!
Meanwhile over at Costco... 😂🤣😂🤣
@Lulz4l1f3 i make most of the Christmas/Solstice gifts i give out, and even so, i don't want to buy the materials THIS early. i do understand though that some folks have different time constraints.
but any store that starts in with the "holiday music" before Thanksgiving loses me as a customer until at least the beginning of December
@Lulz4l1f3
I suspect that it won't be long before the "post-Xmas" sales will be relabeled as "pre-Xmas" sales for the following year.
