What's confusing me about the MAGA right and their reaction to Venezuelan elections.
You can sum up their reaction as "Socialism Bad".
However, I don't see how Venezuela is any more Socialist than Russia, but they love Russia.

@Lulz4l1f3 You can't explain stupidity. There are 4 units in my HOA building. We all contribute to repairs, etc. I love calling it "our little socialist experiment" to my MAGA HOA president neighbor. Drives her crazy.
I look at it like this if we go all the way back to Chavez: he basically bought out or bought majority control of US oil, telecommunications, and other major sector businesses owned by companies from other countries.
And then he appointed loyalists with little or no experience in those industries to run them. Is that socialism? Yes, state-owned industries.
Russia has done the same thing with 1120 state run industries.
