#guitar amps
Upstairs, I have a Johnson Millennium 150 hybrid modeling amp. One of the first modelling amps.
This amp has a bad reputation for a couple of reasons.
1. The volume pots were crap and get all scratchy after a bit.
2. The deal breaker: the J8 foot controller for the amp could short 32v across the 5v circuits if you disconnect the foot controller when the amp is on, killing the amp (microprocessor, eprom, etc).
But it sounds awesome. Two V30s, it chugs.
